Carved from native kadam wood, this sculpture depicts Lord Ganesha, the Remover of Obstacles. One of the most beloved of the Hindu deities, Ganesha is considered to be the patron of the arts and sciences and the deva of wisdom. Chander Kant carves the brilliantly detailed sculpture by hand.
