Swimming in pure delight with the company of their peers, two teams of dolphins prepare to set off on a voyage of a life time. Their smiles make them endearing to all, as some believe these lovable creatures bring good fortune. Wayan Rendah hand-carves their images in chinaberry wood, its natural grain flowing as the dolphins swim.
Not commercially available as lumber, Chinaberry is mostly restricted to smaller-scale and hobbyist uses. Color can range from a light pinkish orange to a deeper reddish brown.
